Tea parties raise £65,000 for breast cancer patients at Addenbrooke's

Staff at the Cambridge Breast Unit held a tea party to celebrate an amazing total of over £65,000 raised for ACT's Addenbrooke’s Breast Cancer Appeal 2016 which encourages family, friends and work colleagues to host afternoon tea parties. Money raised has provided a vital table-top specimen x-ray machine, which will enable one more patient to be screened each day.

Over 40 fundraisers, staff, patients and guests attended the event where the new machine was ‘unveiled’ by representatives from Neaves & Neat Employment Services and Mr Hugh's rapeseed oil who sponsored the Addenbrooke's Breast Cancer Appeal 2016.
